Sasuke and the fox - chapter 2

Chapter 2

“I’m leaving now!” the young Uchiha shouted to the inside of his house “Ok, be careful and don’t be too late!” someone called from inside, and Sasuke shut the door behind him and set off towards the skate park I’ll take a shortcut today thought the raven who walked along an alley out of sight, though he was day dreaming Sasuke was sure he could hear muffled shouts in the distance and a shout of pain but thought not to get involved - it wasn’t his style to help people, it was their problem not his - and just walk past, as he did he noticed a blond haired boy curled up in a ball receiving what looked like some hard blows to his back and ribs by a group of thugs “four against one huh?” Sasuke said making the thugs turn to face him “a little unfair don’t you think?”
“Yeah? And what are you gonna do about it?” said the foremost member of the gang who then received a swift blow to his stomach then face which sent him flying backwards onto the ground “boss!?” another shouted then they looked back at the raven haired boy fear in their eyes “now I’ve got a good idea” Sasuke said walking towards the group cracking his knuckles “I’ll give you 10 seconds to pick up that thing there” he pointed towards the victim of his recent punch “and get out of here, before I do to you what I did to him… 1,2” in fear the thugs ran past cursing Sasuke as they passed claiming they’d ‘get him back’ and once they left Sasuke looked down at the still curled up blond haired boy I wonder if this kid even tried to fight he thought to himself and sighed, “you alright?” he asked and offered a hand “yeah” said the boy blushing slightly at his savior and took the hand helping him up “Um…thanks” he said and began to brush the dirt of his orange T-shirt and black jeans
“No problem” said Sasuke looking him over a bit roughed up but this guy’s hot he thought taking in the boys blond spiky hair, tanned skin and whisker like marks on his cheeks and smiled to himself though not very discreetly which was a change from his normal emotionless face
“Huh?” asked the boy with a slightly confused look on his face
“Oh nothing” said Sasuke and returned to his normal expression - or lack of it - Baka don’t smile he’ll think you’re laughing at him he thought mentally hitting himself in the head, “so why were those guys hitting you?” Sasuke asked “doesn’t look like you’d pick a fight with them”
“oh, um.. it’s because…” the blond tried to find an answer in his head I can’t tell him the real answer or he might hit me too “Sorry I have to go” he said and quickly turned and walked away “wait! Do you need me to walk you home in case they come back?” The blond turned around and blushed again “no thanks I’m fine, thanks for your help bye” and off he ran around the corner and up the alley damn it Naruto you’re supposed to say yes to a hot guy like that he thought to himself as he slowed down to a walking pace and walked towards his apartment and you didn’t even ask his name.
Sasuke started to feel a little rejected and confused but just shrugged it off and resumed his trip to the skate park at a faster pace now I’m gonna be late if I don’t hurry up he thought to himself until he was close enough to the park to walk again who was that guy anyway? I didn’t even find out his name and he entered the skate park to see Kiba with a look of triumph on his face and Hinata who was blushing a deep red but she soon left when she noticed Sasuke “you seem to be in a good mood” Sasuke said while watching Hinata run off “yeah well I just got myself a date” Kiba explained with a fanged grin “where have you been anyway? I’v been waiting ages”
“Why? I’m not late” before waiting for an answer he continued “I was helping some poor sap out of a sticky situation if you must know”
“Oh?” said Kiba looking thoroughly interested with a smirk on his face
“What?” Sasuke demanded
“Nothing, I just can’t see you as the ‘helping’ type…must mean that you like this ‘poor sap’” Kiba had a triumphant look on his face once again
“Shut up baka I came here to skate not talk rubbish with you” and with that the two boys head off to the skating area of the park and finally left at sunset for home.
Naruto sat down to watch TV and glanced out the window towards the new sunset.

I wonder if I’ll see him again.
